4-4-2 is a literacy challenge supported by St Mirren FC Charitable Foundation encouraging children to engage in sport and reading in a creative way. It is in partnership with the SPFL Trust, Scottish Book Trust, and Scottish Library and Information Council.
Each participant will receive a challenge card which is stamped every time they finish reading a book. Once four stamps have been collected, the challenge card can be exchanged for two tickets to a St Mirren game.
In the past, readings have been delivered by Saints Legends including Tony Fitzpatrick.
There are currently many primary schools across Renfrewshire participating in 4-4-2.
