On the anniversary of St Mirren FC’s legendary League Cup win back in 2013, Buddie’s were invited to wear their tops, post a photo, and donate to the foundation. The historic 3-2 win over Hearts has seen March 17th take the title of ‘St Mirren’s Day’, and what better way to reminisce and celebrate than by showing off your stripes.

Stripes on Saints Day began in 2020 during lockdown as an alternative way to come together. The success of the event led to it becoming an annual event, raising thousands for the foundation over the years.

Fans are encouraged to share their selfies on social media, including #StripesOnSaintsDay in their post. In 2022, Stripes on Saints Day raised £460, and a lucky fan chosen at random won a St Mirren FC top and ball, signed by the first team!

Stripes on Saints Day will be returning next year and looks to be bigger and better than ever as it marks 10 years since the famous win!
